Marketplace Payments are the payments received from your Marketplace at the end of each of your statement periods.
If you’re selling on Amazon and your Amazon statement period closes, Amazon usually initiates the payment for that statement the next day.
Keep in mind, Marketplace payments can take 1-2 business days to post to your account. This is noted on your Amazon statements as well.
Once the Marketplace payment is received by Payability, the corresponding reserve for this payment will be released. Keep in mind that since we have already advanced to you a percentage of your payment, Payability will not release the full payment to you, but only release the corresponding reserve amount, as this has not been advanced to you.
The received, payment is posted as a Marketplace Payment. The reserve amount will be deducted from your running Reserve Balance and added to your available balance. The reserve amount released will be posted on your Daily Summary as “Reserve Release”.
In the example below, the Reserve Release on 5/11 was $122.77 - which is 20% of the Marketplace Payment of $613.84.
Clicking the Marketplace Payments will link directly to the Marketplace Payments report where you can review the details of the payments sent from your marketplace. In the example below, you can see that we received a payment of $613.84 and released $122.77 which is 20% of the total payment amount. This matches the ‘Reserve Release’ in the Daily Summary.
